West Fine Art Show

The Glass House Show in September 2022 was a huge success in the fantastic venue. A dedicated 25% of all sales was donated to Langley Hospice. The West Fine Art Show features some of the finest artists in Western Canada, connecting people with art in a series of annual art shows that will become the cornerstone of your arts and entertainment calendar.

It’s all about a touch of celebrity and breathtaking interpretations of the Canadian west – ranging from the untamed wilderness to more urban scenes.

Due to Covid, the wonderful international watercolour exhibition, FabrianoinAcquarello, in Italy, will carry on online this year.

My entry is Line Dancing.

I was pleased to have 2 of my paintings juried into the F.C.A. Fraser Valley Chapter Spring Show at the Langley Arts Council Gallery at 26770-29 Avenue, Aldergrove, B.C..  The show ran from February 19 to …March 31 2021.

In 2018, Joyce was invited to Sketch For Survival, where recognized artists from the professional art community and celebrities around the globe participated in creating a sketch of endangered wildlife. Sketch For Suvival is an annual exhibition and sale of wildlife art of endangered species in aid of conservation. Joyce contributed a sketch of a Baby Elephant, which was one of the 478 featured art pieces in this year's exhibition. Final proceeds raised from this exhibition was over 58,000 pounds.

Joyce's painting has been exhibited in Fabriano once again in 2019, marking her fifth consecutive year. Joyce was excited to be originally included in the invitational show Fabriano in Acquarello 2014 in Fabriano, Italy in July, 2014. This show was to celebrate the 750th anniversary of producing paper in Fabriano. There were 12 artists from Canada as well as artists from Italy, U.S., France, Scandinavia, Turkey, Belgium and Spain. Thanks to Alfonso Tejada for organizing Canada's participation.

Joyce, along with 15 other Canadian artists, has again been invited to exhibit works at the Fabriano in Acquarello 2019, to be held in Fabriano, Italy in April and May 2019. 

Joyce entered a competition sponsered by the B.C. Wildlife Federation and her image of a young red fox won first place. She is now B.C. Wildlife Federation Artist of the Year 2010!

Joyce was pleased to be invited to exhibit in the 1st Annual International Watercolour Biennale. This show, organized by Alfonso Tejada, is hosted by the Federation of Canadian Artists and the International Arts Gallery. Twenty artists from Spain, twenty from Portugal and twenty from Canada were invited to exhibit. The show runs from April 23rd to May 5th at the Federation Gallery, 1241 Cartwright ST., in Granville Island and at the International Arts Gallery, Unit # 2083-2091, International Village Mall, 88 Pender St. West, Vancouver, from May 18th to May 27th.
